The Heat Pump Installation Course will enable operatives to specify, survey, design and install domestic or small commercial heat pump systems, enlisting manufacturers support where required and covers the following areas:

• Principles of ground and air source heat pump operation
• Heat pump collector types
• Heat distribution
• Pre-installation requirements
• Installation materials and methods
• Filling, flushing and testing
• Setting to work, commissioning

Course Pre-requisites

This course has the following pre-requisites:

• Experience of domestic or comercial heating installations

How will I learn and be assessed?

This will come in the form of theory and practical training

What do I need to bring to the course?

• Suitable clothing and footwear for the practical training area
